Historical centre of Rome (October 18, 2009)
Visit of famous places in Rome: Trevi fountain, Piazza Navona and Pantheon.
Rome
We got up early for this last day in Rome, so we could enjoy the town without tourists before taking plane. On the programme: Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, Piazza Navona and the Fountain of the Four Rivers.
From Piazza dei Cavalieri di Malta we have one of the most charming views of Rome. The building belongs to Cavalieri di Malta, it is closed to the public but it is possible to look through the keyhole. You can see the dome of St Peter’s perfectly aligned at the end of a hedge-lined avenue.
